Those who don't play ball fish

I was so disappointed that Erin didn't make the Jr. High softball team this year.  She took it in stride, however, and asked the coach if she could be a manager. She would be very much a part of the team, and she would work out and practice with the team during the year. She would go to all the games.  It will give her a chance to grow with the team and see how the organization functions.

My dad upon asking me if she made the team turned right around and asked if she would play her last year of league ball. I told him that it depended on whether or not her schedule would allow it. She would like to, and it would be good for her...and I think he wants to come see her games. It would give him something to look forward to.

And so it goes that Erin wants to fish with JJ. She asks to go almost every weekend. This week it paid off for her. If Lincoln gets a fishing team, she would want to join it. JJ would let her, and he would take her to every tournament.
